Pappap and Grammy lovin' on their favorite little man. Tristan just loves them and smiles and gets so excited when they talk with him. He was so happy to see his grandparents. Daddy and Tristan took a break from football watching to pose for a quick picture. Brent is trying to get him broken in early.
Here's Scott tearing up the table decorations. He picked up the cornucopia to look at it and managed to upset the whole thing. He was frantically shoving in fake fruit before my mom could notice that her carefully crafted decorations had been assaulted. It was pretty funny. What a way to impress the future mother-in-law!

Uncle Micah loved hanging out with Maura. My poor girl was sick the whole day. She threw up in the car the night before on the way up--Yay! It was a terrible experience that culminated in the undressing of my poor sick baby in the parking lot of Cracker Barrel at 1:00 in the morning when it was 38 degrees outside. Needless to say, she wasn't quite herself the next day and ended up sleeping through dinner. When she finally did make an appearance, she didn't feel like eating and was pretty crabby. She wouldn't even eat cranberry sauce, her favorite!

We spent our after dinner slump watching Youtube videos, much to Maura's delight.

My sweet little turkey!!!

Katie and Scott had to leave early for yet another dinner, but not before getting some snuggles from Tristan. This time next year, they'll be married! We took Maura out for a walk after dinner because it was such a nice day. I captured this picture of her with almost all of my parent's animal menagerie.

Just before bed, we turned on Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer for the kids. They were entranced! It's hard to believe that it has as much appeal today in the age of computer animation, but there's just something about that cute story that gets you. Maura has requested it several times since! My girl loves taking care of her baby brother.
She thought it would be nice to feed him a cupcake. Too cute. I can't wait til they can play together. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving together and enjoyed some family time. I'm so thankful that we have a family who loves each other and enjoys hanging out together. That is truly a blessing from God.
