Before the Ringling Brother's Circus came to town last month, they sent an advance party to stir up some excitement back in August. My friend, Rachel, let us know that the clowns were coming to the public library and asked if we'd like to go. Absolutely!! They attracted a huge crowd to hear them read a circus book and do some clowning around.
There are two really funny clowns up front and what are my children interested in?? Their feet. They were a bit more interested a few moments later when we actually got to meet the clowns a few minutes later. Interested and a bit intimidated. They didn't mind posing for the photo, but I don't think they would have liked to be left alone with this crazy stranger. Bennett was
mesmerized by the clown...or was it the nose. That big round ball of a nose would have been a target if he could have only gotten closer! The clowns whetted our appetite for the circus and when they actually came to town a few weeks ago, we did go. Photos of that to follow...
