Thanksgiving Day

We made a quick trip to Tennessee to celebrate Thanksgiving this year. Brent's brother, Matt, and his wife, Brenda, were in for a visit and we hadn't seen them in over a year. We were excited about our Tennessee Thanksgiving!
Nan was excited to get her hands on this big boy! Bennett wore his Thanksgiving overalls for the occasion. Thanks, Nan, for this adorable outfit! Tristan couldn't wait to get HIS hands on a tractor. We went to Aunt Tracey and Uncle Jim's house for Thanksgiving dinner and Tristan spied this tractor from the parking lot. He took off running towards the house and as I jogged after him I realized what lit a fire under him! He couldn't wait to climb up and drive!

I know this one is blurry, but it was too cute not to share! I love these guys!

Below: Aunt Tracey made this beautiful bread wreath--almost too pretty to eat. Dinner was delicious--probably one of the best we've ever had!

We were excited to get to share dinner with Grandmother. She looked beautiful, and we wanted to take the opportunity to get some photos. She loved seeing Bennett and sharing dinner with the whole crew. It was crazy, noisy and rainy but we all managed to have a great time.

The kids LOVED seeing Uncle Matt. LOVED it. As you can see, he's kind of a kid himself, so he played crazy games with them, made faces and lots of noise. The kids were immediately drawn to him--Tristan especially. Uncle Matt even let Tristan start his RV. Big stuff for my moving vehicle obsessed boy!

Below: Bennett and Jackson had a great time together too! We put them facing each other in their seats and they kicked and talked. We moved them to face the Christmas tree and those seats almost flew away--they were kicking and flapping so hard!

Sweet little turkey--LOVE him!

It was a good Thanksgiving and we were blessed by the opportunity to share it with the ones we love! We're so thankful for our family--especially GG and Grandpoppa!!
